It's still hard to wrap my head around the fact that none of these portraits are of actual humans. But there is so much potential here for levearging AI for effective storytelling purposes. This is one of the aspects of AI that I am most excited about.
When I was a growing up in Japan, I was a child model and would get paid somewhere around $150-300 for a day of posing for the camera. For some reason Japanese consumers loved advertisements with foreigners holding or wearing or drinking ("For relaxing times, make it Suntory Time.") products. But soon it may be much easier and tremendously faster for advertisers to find the perfect model and shot for their needs via AI.
