Another exciting factor of AI to me is the ability to breathe life into the past - whether it's vintage photographs, telling stories visually that only existed in written form, or imagining art in a moving form.
Below is a short video I created, taking Grant Wood's classic 'American Gothic' painting from 1930 and animating the characters with AI-generated voice and lipsyncing. Images were based on photographs of the artwork and museum, the initial transition motion sequence with LumaLabs, the audio made with ElevenLabs, and the lipsyncing accomplished with Hedra Character1. Final assembly and editing was done manually in Premiere Pro.
